This is a little guide made by Kromdaral for the Loa AJAX Chat, enjoy it, if u have any doubts about something that is not explained here just send me a private message here
Also if you find any error or something to improve send me a private message too.
This is the Chat Screen that you should be seeing:
- Logout button: it disconect you from the chat.
- channel: it let you choose a different channel.
- Style: just to change colors.
- Language: to change the language, English, Spanish, etc.
- buttons from 1 to 8: codes with the same function that in the forum, same way of working.
- buttons from 9 to 13:
<*> 9) Help button: it will show you the command list.
<*> 10) Settings: it makes you able to configure some things
<*> 11) Online users: it shows/hide online users menu.
<*> 12) Sound On/Off.
<*> 13) Autoscroll On/Off: it put on/off the autoscroll.
Now I'll explain each thing  :
<*> 9) command list:
Command actions are underlined, Commands are in red color, Command descriptions are in black bolt normal letters.
Available commands:
* Join a channel: /join Channelname
type /join (Channelname)
you will join the typed channel, to make this much easier use the channel selection next to the "logout" button.
* Create a private room (Registered users only): /join
it worls in around the same way than the "/Join channel" command", but it just open a private channel accessible by you and ONLY the people invited by you.
* Invite someone (e.g. to a private room): /invite Username
It invites someone to the channel you are in, also it's useful to let specific members to know the channel where you are in.
* Revoke invitation: /uninvite Username
It uninvites a previously invited member
* Logout from Chat: /quit
Same thing that the "logout" button.
* Private message: /msg Username Text
Also known as "whispers" it sends a msg to the selected member, the other members wont be able to read it.
* Open a private channel: /query Username
Same that private msgs, but it will be permanent till you close it.
* Close a private channel: /query
It closes a previously opened channel, you need to have one previously opened.
* Describe action: /action Text
It describes an action done by you, e.g. "/action is bored", the LoABot will say "(yournick) is bored.".
* Describe action in private message: /describe Username Text
It makes the same think than the "/action" command, but the described action will be only visible by the typed "Username".
* Ignore/accept messages from user: /ignore Username
Really useful to stop someone who is annoying you with private messages.
* List ignored users: /ignore
It shows you who is ignored (By you).
* Display user channel: /whereis Username
It tells you where is the user who you are looking for, useful when you want to have a private chat with an user who left the channel before tell you the channel where his going to.
* Kick a user (Moderators only): /kick Username [Minutes banned]
It kick an user for a little time, if you don't type it it will be for 5 minutes.
* Unban a user (Moderators only): /unban Username
It unbans a previously banned user.
* List banned users (Moderators only): /bans
It shows the banned users.
* Display user IP (Moderators only): /whois Username
It shows the IP of an User.
* List online users: /who [Channelname]
Lists ALL online users in the channel you type, if you don't type a channel it will lists the users in the channel you are in.
* List available channels: /list
Lists all the available channels for you.
* Roll dice: /roll [number]d[sides]
It rolls a dice, where [number] its the number of dices and [sides] the number of sides. the max number of dices is 100, if you type a higher number it will roll ONE dice, the max number of sides is 100, if you type a higher number the rolled dices will have only 6 sides.
If you just type "/roll" it will roll ONE dice of SIX sides.
* Change username: /nick Username
It changes your username ONLY IN THE CHAT, if someone uses the name of another user with the exact characters the false one can be identified checking the username, if its false it will be between ( ), e.g. Kromdaral its the true, but (Kromdaral) its the false one.
